NEW Online Workshop~ ColorBurst~ Intuitive Creative Painting~

 Add a beautiful explosion of color and whimsy to your artwork table with this wonderful Intuitive painting technique! We will create several fun layers of color and texture, use our intuition and then add the final layers.This technique is so "freeing" and lets your creativity flow! This workshop includes 2 videos a month for 4 months,filled with techniques, projects, my favorite supplies to use and a PDF for supplies and some of my favorite inspirational quotes for use in your artwork~ 

On the day the workshop opens you will receive an e-mail with the links and password for that months videos. I will be posting a PDF with quotes for you to include in your artwork and below I have included the Supply list. This is such a beautiful way to add inspiration into your daily life by creating these  wonderful polymer  clay tiles and creating wall hangings, furniture tops ,framed pieces etc! 

So glad you have you have joined me and let's get started!

~Supply List~

Assorted  packages /colors of Sculpey III polymer clay ( that's my favorite but use whatever you enjoy) 2-3 pkgs will make a small plaque, larger projects will need 3-5 on up.

Assorted stamps~ rubber works best but any stamps will work

A clay cutter 

Pigments Powders for applying to finished pieces

Toaster oven ( I have a "demoted" one I use just for polymer, you can sometimes find them at yard sales ,second hand stores too)

Clay roller or something like a small rolling pin to roll out clay

Deck of cards ( we will use this for the thickness of the clay)

Wax paper

 Several  pieces of card stock

Gel pens ( gold, black, white- I use Signo Uni ball)

Acrylic Paints

Glitter glue

Glass beads- size 6 or 11

Assorted "jewels" and misc jewelry items to imbed in clay

Weldbond Adhesive ( I get mine at Michaels)

Polymer sealer 

Optional- shaped cut outs( squares)

Shaping tools for the clay

I have decided to start the workshop on the 7th as I only have several people signed up now.. so  Im hoping to get some more people signed up by then for the workshop.

~Let's Play Tag~ NEW Online Workshop~Starts May 21st

~WELCOME TO LETS PLAY TAG~

In this Brand New Workshop we will explore all the possibilities of creating  journal tags, gift tags and any other tags you can think of! By using color, embossing, texture and mixed media we will use our imagination to create beautiful and unique tags! The workshop starts on May 21st and on that day you will receive a  password to use with the video links provided on this page. Below I have put together a supply list so you can have everything ready for the first day of class!  I'm so happy you all have joined me and that we will  all go on this fun journey together!

Big Kick Embosser and folders for Texture Embossing

Manilla  or white tags ( all sizes as many as you want to create), time cards,library cards, postcards,gift tags... anything you would like to use that is sturdy enough for paint,sprays etc

Gypsy Wrap Bracelet Workshop

~Gypsy Wrap Bracelet On Line Workshop~

WELCOME to my NEW online workshop "Gypsy Wrap Bracelets"! In this workshop you will create these beautiful one of a kind wraps and adding your own touch to make them yours! We will be using hand dyed Sari Silk , Chiffon Silk  and reclaimed  Sari Silk for the main component in our designs. Adding layers of glass seed beads, crystals, silver plated or pewter beads / charms and many other fun adornments! I will offer you a handful of variations on the main design as well!  I will be offering Sari Silk on my website also at www.indigoearth.artfire.com

These lovely bracelets are wonderfully light to wear, very Bohemian and very fun!! I will be posting the links  for the workshops here and will e-mail you each the password on April 1st. 

This workshop will be open until Oct 1st so have fun and enjoy!!

Sari Silk ( 3 ribbons at 3 yd lengths each per bracelet)

 2-2 1/2 yds of 1mm leather string

 6mm Glass seed beads- several colors

Small spacer beads-4 mm- 12- 20

I now have Sari and Chiffon Silk available on my website ~ you have a choice between 2 ribbon Cards ( 3 yds each) and 3 ribbon Cards ( 3 yds each) These are the same ribbons that I use and  each card is color coordinated . Each card will make one bracelet~ depending on if you want 2 or 3 ribbons for your bracelet~ that is the card you would choose.
