~ ART TAG MANIA~


TAG MANIA!

NEW Online Workshop

Do you love creating little pieces of art you can hold in your hand and enjoy?? I just love to have fun with these sweet little tags and each one has a different design,different meaning, different colors and textures! You can even do these wherever you are ,they are easy to take with you and doodle on, glue,color with markers etc! Short little bursts of creation even if you dont have much time to do your art!
These tags can also be made as special little gift tags or inspirational messages for someone special! Most of them you can just use supplies that you may have in your art studio now!


~Supplies~

*Assorted Tags ( I used the larger size manila tags in most of the projects but you can use any size or color tags!)
*Assorted Acrylic Paints,Watercolors, Neo Crayons, Gelatos, Derwent water color Pencils, anything you would like to use to lay down color for backgrounds
*Gel Medium~ Matte
*Bead gel medium 
*Assorted  Stencils
*Assorted ink pad colors
*Assorted rubber stamps  (quotes and misc)
* Paper  Ephemera ( napkins, patterned tissue paper
* Fun little embellishments like buttons, metal objects,dried pressed flowers,chipboard objects,paper quotes etc)
*Ribbons ( Sari Silk  Ribbon & Sari Silk Yarn~ I can offer assorted pieces for your tags just message me at swelser@rochester.rr.com) *Lace or any other types of ribbons or trim
*Assorted Pens  ( I use Signo Uniball pens in white, black, gold and silver)and  any  Markers such a Posco or Tombow
* Dylusions Spray inks
* Ranger Alcohol Inks
*Glitter
*Glitter Gel
*Embossing glitter
*Drawing inks such as Daler Rowney
*Vintaj Embossing unit and folders ( optional)
* Large hole beads and charms for adding to ribbons at the top of the tags

These supplies are what we will be mainly using although along the way I may add some of my other favorite supplies in just for fun!





This workshop will have 3 segments, one  each Monday from the 15th until the 29th! We also will have a segment on Celebrating YOU and creating tags that are just about you, your dreams, goals and things that make you smile!

NEW On Line Workshop~ StoryTelling Sticks~

~WELCOME~




 Hi sweet creative friends~I am so very happy to offer this wonderful new online workshop celebrating a bit of tradition and beautiful Native American Ways! I have always been drawn to the sacred ways  of Native Americans and how they live their lives and love our Mother Earth. In this workshop we will create these beautiful StoryTelling Sticks with wonderful creativity and meaning! So let's have some fun !





~Supply List for "StoryTelling" Sticks~
·       Rectangle pieces of wood ( I used 2 x 6's)
·       Sandpaper ( Medium grit)
·       Acrylic Paints ( your choice of colors, I used mainly deep orange, red, brown ,turquoise
·       Small  sticky foam shapes (or you can cut your own ),they sell them at Wal-Mart in the kids craft section. We will be making our own tribal stamps.
·       Small squares of cardboard ( for the stamp base)
·       Black Archival Ink
·       leather scraps( Michael's or Joann's)
·       Sizzix BigKick Vintaj ( to emboss the leather scraps) "Optional"
·       Glass beads- size 6 o
·       Feathers
·       Wire for wrapping ( 20-24 gauge)
·       Gemstones
·       Hemp string
·       Leather lacing
·       Hot glue gun and glue sticks
·       Shells
·       Small bells
·       Anything that speaks to you to use in decorating your own "StoryTelling" sticks
 We will also discuss several other options to use your story telling sticks! I have some links above that might be as easy as other supplies to find but most other supplies you can find at Michael's and Joann's
